I am shocked: British PM on Brussels explosions

Brussels/ London, Mar 22 (IBNS) British PM David Cameron on Tuesday said he was shocked by the explosions which hit Brussels and left at least 21 people killed.

"I am shocked and concerned by the events in Brussels. We will do everything we can to help," Cameron tweeted.

"I will be chairing a COBRA meeting on the events in Brussels later this morning," he said.

At least 21 people were killed as several explosions hit Brussels airport and the metro system on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to reports, two explosions hit the departures area of Zaventem airport.

Later,  an explosion hit Maelbeek metro station, local media reports said.

The explosions have left several others injured in the Belgium capital.
