Indian Canadian Neel Nanda conferred award for heritage promotion

Toronto, Nov 7 (IBNS) India-born Canadian Neel Nanda, who is the president of non-profit cultural body Heritage Beyond Borders, was on Friday conferred an award by the National Ethnic Press Council of Canada at its Annual Awards function.

He received the Award from  Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, for services rendered towards the betterment of Canadian Society through non-profit organization Heritage Beyond Borders.

Heritage Beyond Borders is a Non- Profit Multi-Cultural organization with the aim of promoting tolerance and understanding of diverse culture with the principal mission of promoting its mission "One Heritage One World" - We are coming from different parts of the world and amalgamating into Heritage in Canada.

This year along with their  regular celebrations the organization will also hold a beauty pageant "Miss Heritage Canada" reflecting the diversity in culture and heritage.
