Washington, Nov 20 (IBNS) Israel spy Jonathan Pollard, an American convicted in America for selling classified information will finally be released on parole, the BBC reported.

Pollard, a former Navy intelligence officer was caught in 1985, giving out information to Israel.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment two years later.

Upon his release he expressed his wish to move to Israel to be reunited with his wife, but his parole terms bar him from doing so without taking permission from the US.

He is also believed to have given out information to other countries, according to other intelligence officers.
