Kabul: Explosion rocks Kabul city, 5 killed

Kabul, June 3 (IBNS): At least five people were killed and 10 others were hurt as an explosion rocked Afghanistan capital Kabul city on Monday, media reports said.

Officials in the ministry of interior confirmed to Tolo News that the explosion took place in Dar-ul-Aman area of the city. 

The officials further added that the explosion targeted a vehicle which was transporting a group of governmental employees.

Dr. Wahidullah Mayar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health, told Tolo News that five people were killed in the incident.

In the meantime, sources in Independent Administrative Reform and Civil Service Commission are saying to the news portal that the explosion has killed four employees of the commission. 

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
