The protesters belonged to the Political Alliance North Waziristan.

Addressing the participants, Liaquat Wazir, president of the alliance, told Dawn News two drivers belonging to North Waziristan’s Marsi Khel area were looted and then abducted on the main road of Shikarpur five days ago.

They were shifted to an unknown place, he added.

He said the police did not take any step to ensure the release of the drivers.
