| @indiablooms | Jul 24, 2022, at 11:25 pm

Dhaka: The Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka has removed the distorted image of the Bangladesh flag from its Facebook page.

The high commission removed the distorted image of Bangladesh flag from its Facebook page at 12:13 pm on Sunday.

Before this, popular Indian news agency UNI had reported about the flag on July 22. This was noticed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh.

The development came following an order of Bangladesh’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this regard.

Earlier on Thursday , the High Commission uploaded a collage of Bangladesh and Pakistan flags as the cover photo of their official Facebook page.

Since then, a widespread criticism spread on the social media platform Facebook.

Later on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs asked Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka to remove the distorted image of Bangladesh flag from its Facebook page.

Meanwhile, ‘Bangladesh Muktijuddho Mancha’ and the ‘Ekattorer Ghatak Dalal Nirmul Committee’ strongly condemned and protested against the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka for humiliating the national flag of Bangladesh.
