Pakistan: TV journalist hurt after gunmen attack him in Karachi

A TV journalist was injured in an armed attack in Pakistan's Kaarchi city on Tuesday.

Police told Dawn News that unidentified gunmen fired at Nadeem Ahmed as soon as he parked his motorcycle near the office of 92 News TV channel, where he worked as a senior reporter.

The gunmen escaped from the scene after the attack.

The injured journalist was rushed to Liaquat National Hospital for treatment.

He is currently out of danger.

“We are investigating the incident from different aspects,” police told Dawn News.
