Santa Ana: At least five people died in a shooting incident that broke out at a nightclub in Panama, media reports said on Saturday.

A video footage of the incident went viral on social media.

Recorded from the crowd and looking at the stage at the venue, the footage showed people in the club enjoying themselves and listening to music. Shortly after, a series of gunshots can be heard in the video being fired and everyone in the club starts to duck and attempt to make their way outside, reports Daily Mail.

Police have started investigating the incident.
