Dhaka/UNI: Former US Secretary of State and current President Joe Biden's climate envoy John Kerry on Friday praised Bangladesh for giving refuge to Rohingya's, saying they are not only Bangladesh's responsibility.

"Rohingyas are not only Bangladesh's responsibility. Instead, all countries, including the United Nations, must take this responsibility," Kerry said in a press briefing after a meeting with Bangladesh foreign minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen.

He said tackling the Rohingya crisis and what is currently going on in Myanmar stands as a moral challenge.

"The Biden administration is working hard on how to resolve this crisis,'' he said.

Expressing gratitude to the people of Bangladesh and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for providing humanitarian shelter to the Rohingyas, the US diplomat said Hasina has set a shining example of humanity in the world.
