Roof of a house collapses in Afghanistan, 2 die

Kabul, Mar 11 (IBNS): A roof of a house collapsed in Afghanistan's , Jalalabad area which left a mother and her eight months old daughter killed, media reports said.

The incident left three others hurt.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that following incessant rains, the roof caved in in Ghochko locality in the 7th police district early in the morning.

He told the Afghanistan-based news agency a mother and her eight months old daughter were killed and three other children injured in the incident. 

The injured people were shifted to a hospital for treatment.
