Sri Lanka: 20 passengers injured in road crash
Colombo: At least 20 passengers were injured when a passenger bus collided with a lorry in the southern suburb of Colombo on Friday, the police said.
The police said the bus was bound from Colombo to the eastern town of Akkaraipattu.
The police said the injured were rushed to the local hospitals.
Some 19,740 road accidents were reported in Sri Lanka in 2022, killing 2,485 people, according to the police.
