A man, who has stolen  200,000 Cadbury Creme Eggs weeks before Easter in the UK, has been prisoned.

Joby Pool admitted at an earlier hearing to taking a trailer of the chocolate from an industrial unit in Telford, Shropshire, in February this year, reports BBC.

According to reports, the haul of sweet treats was valued over £31,000.

Pool, aged 32, from Tingley, near Leeds, was sentenced to 18 months with half to be spent in prison, the British media reported.

The six months he has already spent in custody will be counted towards the nine months in jail.
