BrahMos missile tested successfully, first in world
New Delhi, Nov 22 (IBNS): BrahMos missle, which was fired from IAF's Sukhoi 30-MKI, has been tested successfully, media reports said.
This is the first successful firing of the Indo-Russian missile in India and also in the world.
Following the successful testing, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tweeted: "India creates a world record and completes Supersonic Cruise Missile Triad by successfully testing #BRAHMOS #ALCM from Indian Air Force Sukhoi-30MKI fighter aircraft. Smt @nsitharaman congratulates Team Brahmos & @DRDO_India for this historic achievement."
