Eva India 2017 travelling to different Indian cities for the audition rounds
New Delhi, Nov 3 (IBNS): The EVA INDIA 2017 beauty pageant was launched recently in Delhi.
Organised by DLK Publications, participants not only have a chance to win the coveted top crown but also be the winner in various categories, such as Miss Catwalk, Miss Congenial, Miss Beautiful Body, Miss Tourism, etc.
Eva India’s jury consists of experts from the various departments of the fashion industry, fashion icons, and Bollywood personalities. ,
Selected participants will be groomed by the best in the industry as they learn ramp walk along with focus on personality development, beauty, fitness, dance and public speaking skills, the organisers said.
Rajni Kalra, Director, EVA INDIA 2017, and Executive Editor, Hospitality India & Explore the World, said, “Eva India is an initiative to empower the girls in all aspects of life. It is a platform to encourage the girls of our society to come out from their comfort zones and challenge the world with their immense knowledge and their will power. The Winner of Eva India 2017 title stand to win cash prizes and gift hampers, as well as opportunities to work for publications.
The first leg of the beauty peagent EVA INDIA 2017 started with the Ghaziabad auditions held on Thursday at the Raddison Blu Kaushabmi.
Among the top 18 selected for the Ghaziabad round, Rimili Lahon bagged the top position followed by First runner-up Yashi Shankhadhar and Second runner up Simran Kaur.
"I feel at the top of the world. Grateful to EVA INDIA 2017 for giving this platform and I am all set to win the crown at Delhi finale auditions," said Rimili Lahon after winning the audition.
The subsequent auditions will be held on Nov 6 at Holiday Inn, Jaipur; Nov 12 at Rodas, Mumbai; Nov 14 at Fortune, the Landmark, Ahmadabad; Nov 20 at Holiday Inn, Chandigarh; and Nov 24 at Piccadilly in Delhi.
