Kolkata gastropub Zobet launches new menu

Kolkata/IBNS: Zobet, a Victorian era inspired gastropub in Kolkata, has launched a new menu, which is more in sync with contemporary taste buds.

Highlights from the fairly extensive menu include Malabar Parotta Chicken Taco, Mock Meat Dimsum, Sali Chicken with Steamed Rice, Crespelle Pasta, Penang style Grilled Chicken with Kimchi Rice, Lemon Pie, and Pull Me Up Chocolate Cake.

There is a Live Sushi Bar with a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options such as Futo Vegan Maki, Asparagus Tempura Roll, Truffle and Cheese Rolls, Avocado Cheese Maki, Oh My God Sushi, Prawn Tempura Roll and Ying Yang Salmon Roll.

Some of their new spirited blends include Scottish Affairs, Malted House and Caribbean Islands.

Zobet (for reservations, call -91 91639 11011) is located on the fourth floor or Fort Knox building and open between noon and eight pm.

A meal for two costs around Rs 1,100 + tax without alcohol and Rs 2,100 + tax with alcohol
