Kolkata: Tollywood actors, Hope Foundation's children unveil Ramadan Special Menu at The GT Route

Kolkata, May 21 (IBNS): Tollywood actors Srabanti and Paayel, along with Director Joydip Mukherjee, spent an evening with the underprivileged children of Kolkata-based Hope Foundation, recently, at The GT Route, a multi-cuisine restaurant of Jameson Inn Shiraz.

The actors-director team of the upcoming film Bhaijaan Elo Re also unveiled the restaurant's Ramadan Special Menu.

The GT Route claims to present culinary delights from Kabul to Kolkata.

“We are happy to have the children of Hope Foundation amongst us to enjoy the Ramadan Special Menu curated by us at The GT Route. We have included the cult food items that are most catered to during the Ramadan. We have also included Kulfi in the menu keeping in mind the summer season," said Ishtiaque Ahmad, Partner, Shiraz Hotels Pvt. Ltd.

The Ramadan Special menu at The GT Route includes Sharbat-E-Azam (rose flavoured cooler), Murgh Piyazu (deep fried fritter of shredded chicken and onion served with green sauce), Mutton Haleem (boneless mutton cube cooked with rice, lentil, barley, hot spices & herbs, served with baby kulcha), Murgh Haleem (boneless chicken cube cooked with rice lentil barley hot spices and herbs, served with baby kulcha), Keema Kaleji (mutton mince and liver cooked with hot spices & onion gravy, served with roomali bread) and Malai Kulfi (frozen condensed milk served with falooda).

The restaurant remains open between 12 pm - 4 pm and 7 pm - 11.30 pm and a meal for two will cost around Rs 750 + taxes.
