Samsung’s epic gaming showcase is coming to Gamescom 2026—Gamers won’t want to miss this
Samsung Electronics will showcase its comprehensive gaming ecosystem spanning PC, console and mobile gaming at Gamescom 2026, one of the world’s largest gaming events, taking place in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to 30.
Across a 1,090-square-metre exhibition space, Samsung will present its portfolio of gaming products under the theme “#PlaySamsung”, featuring gaming monitors, mobile devices, SSDs and headsets.
Visitors will be able to get hands-on experience with popular game titles across a range of genres and gaming environments.
“In this day and age, gaming goes far beyond the games themselves to encompass high-quality, personalized gaming experiences,” said Stephanie Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of the Global Brand Center at Samsung Electronics. “Through our integrated ecosystem we’re presenting at Gamescom 2026, Samsung is providing users with a way to take their gaming to the next level.”
Samsung will also unveil its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup and new portable SSD products at the event, highlighting how its broad portfolio of devices and technologies can deliver more immersive and connected gaming experiences.
Four Dedicated Gaming Zones
Samsung’s exhibition space will be divided into four dedicated areas: the Odyssey Zone, Galaxy Zone, Gaming Hub Zone and T1 Zone. Each zone will focus on different products and gaming environments, allowing visitors to experience a variety of gaming scenarios firsthand.
Odyssey Zone
The Odyssey Zone will showcase Samsung’s gaming monitor lineup alongside high-performance SSDs and gaming headsets.
Featured products will include:
Odyssey G8 (G80HS) — described by Samsung as the world’s first 6K gaming monitor.
Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH) — featuring 4K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 240Hz.
Odyssey 3D (G90XF) — a glasses-free 3D gaming monitor.
The zone will also feature Samsung’s high-performance 9100 Pro SSD, designed to enhance gaming performance, along with the JBL Quantum 950 headset, which is designed for competitive and tournament-level gaming.
Together, the products are intended to demonstrate how Samsung’s gaming ecosystem can deliver more immersive visual, audio and performance experiences.
Galaxy Zone
At the Galaxy Zone, visitors will be able to explore Samsung’s mobile gaming ecosystem, designed to provide fast and seamless gaming experiences on the go.
Featured devices will include the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, powered by the customised Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.
The zone will also showcase the Galaxy Buds4 Pro, which features a low-latency gaming mode, along with new ultra-fast portable SSDs equipped with next-generation interfaces.
Samsung has also introduced Neural Frame Fusion on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8. The AI-powered technology generates pixels and frames in real time to improve graphics-processing efficiency, helping maintain high gaming performance for longer while delivering smoother and more stable gameplay.
Visitors will be able to test the devices with globally popular titles including Genshin Impact, Asphalt Legends and Honor of Kings, among others.
Gaming Hub Zone
The Gaming Hub Zone will highlight Samsung Gaming Hub, which provides access to cloud gaming on compatible TVs and monitors without requiring users to connect a separate console or download games.
Products on display will include Samsung’s OLED TV (S95H), the Galaxy S26 Ultra and JBL Quantum 650.
T1 Zone
Samsung has partnered with global esports powerhouse T1 to create a dedicated zone where visitors can experience gaming equipment associated with world-renowned League of Legends player Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok.
Bringing Korean PC Café Culture to Gamescom
Samsung will also bring the atmosphere of a Korean PC café to Gamescom 2026, creating an interactive experience for visitors interested in gaming and Korean culture.
In addition to showcasing its latest technologies, Samsung will host influencer gaming matches, product-reveal events and other interactive programmes. Visitors can register through a web application and complete missions throughout the booth to earn points that can be exchanged for rewards, including popular Korean snacks.
The company will also host a Spatial Signage experience using glasses-free 3D displays. After selecting a T1 team member, visitors will be able to see an immersive display designed to create the impression of meeting the player in real time.
#PlayGalaxy Cup World Finals
On August 27 and 28, the World Finals of the #PlayGalaxy Cup in PUBG Mobile will take place on a stage inside Samsung’s exhibition area.
Ten elite teams that advanced through global preliminary rounds will compete for the championship. The programme will also feature a special match involving popular gaming influencers, an interactive racing programme, SSD influencer talks and raffle events.
On August 27, Samsung will unveil the complete lineup of its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitors, featuring what the company describes as industry-first technologies, alongside the launch of its new portable SSD products.
