Yauatcha Kolkata infuses its Chinese menu with flavours from Bengal this Poila Baisakh

Kolkata, Apr 6 (IBNS): Yauatcha an award-winning Chinese dim sum tea house is presenting a special a la carte menu at its Kolkata outlet for the upcoming Bengali New Year or Poila Baisakh through April.

This festive menu reflects the city-based team's ability to innovate by matching Kolkata’s local culture with Yauatcha’s global character, including presenting an exclusive Bengali New Year cocktail, Huanying Xiatian, made with fresh mango, Absolut vodka, and Gondhoraj lime.

Synonymous with its range of dimsums, Yauatcha’s has fused them with local flavours, such as Hibiscus chicken dumpling or the Prawn and Gondhoraj lime dumpling.

The former gets its hue from the hibiscus tea extract while the latter adds a twist to the classic har gau by adding a zing of gondhoraj.

Highlights from the main dishes include Steamed spicy Bhetki with mango and mustard sauce, Wild Shrimp Fried Rice with pickled olive, and Spicy Hakka Noodles, a local favourite.

For desserts, try the refreshing Gondhoraj,  available only on the festive menu.

What: Poila Baisakh at Yauatcha Kolkata
