AAP protests against Centre for not taking actions against 'tainted' Ministers
New Delhi, June 29 (IBNS): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday held a protest march from Delhi's Jantar Mantar to Parliament demanding resignation of tainted BJP leaders Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje following allegations of impropriety.
The agitators have also sought action against Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani who has been accused of misrepresenting facts about her educational qualifications to the EC.
The BJP government at the Centre is hit by a controversy which involve the names of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje for allegedly helping former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi's application for immigration to the UK in 2011.
Since the news came to surface, Oppositions are demanding the resignation of the two BJP bigwigs from their respective posts.
