Another Vyapam-linked death, this time key witness constable

New Delhi Jul 9(IBNS) The mystery over the parade of deaths related to the Vyapam scam continues to deepen as s witness in the case, a Madhya Pradesh Police constable has died.
According to the Special Taks Force, investigating into the scam, Sanjay Yadav, the constable, died of prolonged illness five months ago.
 
He was supposed to depose in a Bhopal court in connection with the case, but did not appear.

The constable was said to be close to Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav’s ex-OSD Dhanraj Yadav, who is currently in jail over the Vyapam scam.

Earlier, reports had said that the constable had gone missing. However, Congress general secretary Digvijaya Singh had alleged that the constable was dead.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court is set to hear petitions seeking CBI probe into the Vyapam scam and removal of the Madhya Pradesh Governor.

So far more than 45 people-all connected to the scam case in one way or the other- have died premature deaths, several of them under mysterious circumstances.
