APJ Abdul Kalam's body arrives in Delhi
New Delhi, Jul 28 (IBNS) Former President APJ Abdul Kalam's body arrived in Delhi from Guwahati by a special aircraft shortly after noon on Tuesday.
President Pranab Mukherjee will receive the body at the Palam airport.
A tri-service gurard of honour will be given as a mark of respect to the departed President, who was also an eminent scientist.
The "Missile man" as he was known for his inventions during his stint as chief of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) died in Shillong on Mondayevening.
He had collapsed while speaking at a prgoramme of Indian Institute of Management, Shillong.
His body was brought to Guwahati to be kept overnight.
