BJP sweeps Manipur, Uttarakhand assembly polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has once again scripted a sweeping victory in Manipur and Uttarakhand, which went into polls along with three other states in the last few weeks.

As per the latest trends, the BJP is leading in 30 of 60 assembly seats while the Congress is ahead in seven seats.

In Uttarakhand, the saffron brigade is ahead in 44 of 70 seats while the Congress is lagging behind with 22 seats.

Apart from these two states, the BJP is set for a return in Uttar Pradesh and ahead of the Congress in the Goa battle.
