| | Feb 23, 2016, at 02:30 pm
New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS): The Budget Session of the Parliament will commence from Tuesday.

The opposition parties are likely to corner the government on the floor of the Parliament over issues like Jawaharlal Nehru University row and Dalit scholar Rohith Vemula's suicide case .

The session opens with the address of President Pranab Mukherjee to members of both the Houses at a Joint Sitting in the Central Hall of Parliament.

The Budget Session is crucial for the government as the Railway Budget and the General Budget will be presented on Feb 25 and Feb 29 respectively.

Amid repeated disruptions, the  Monsoon and the Winter Sessions of the Parliament were completely washed out.

The session will continue till May 13.
