Christmas being celebrated with great fervour

New Delhi, Dec 25 (IBNS) Christmas celebrations are being held across the country with fervour with a massive number of people joining the festivity.

The occasion is being marked by singing of carols, lighting of candles, setting off fire crackers, exchange of gifts and greetings.

Several people thronged at the churches to attend the Midnight masses being held on the occasion

Many people installed decorative lighting on their houses to usher in Christmas. Markets, hotels, restaurants and other places have been decorated for the festivities.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday conveyed his wishes to people around the world on the occasion of Christmas. "Wishing people all around the world a Merry Christmas!," Modi tweeted.
