Congress chief Sonia Gandhi condemns Moaist attack in Odisha

New Delhi, Aug 26 (IBNS): Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday condemned the Maoist-triggered landmine blast in Odisha's southern district of Malkangiri bordering Telengana which killed three BSF jawans.

"CP, Smt.Sonia Gandhi has condemned the dastardly incident of security personnel being killed by Left wing extremists in Malkangiri, Odisha," Congress tweeted.

"Extending her condolences to families of martyred Jawans,Smt.Gandhi reiterated that such cowardly acts of violence could not be justified," the party said.

It said: "She also expressed the hope that concerned authorities will work expeditiously to bring the guilty to book. #Malkangiri."
