Court sends Rose Valley agent Amit Banerjee to judicial custody
Kolkata, Jun 24 (IBNS): The Kolkata City Sessions court on Wednesday sent ponzi firm Rose Valley's agent Amit Banerjee to judicial custody for six days.
After almost four hours of questioning, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested him on June 19, reports said.
Banerjee was produced in the same court earlier on Jun 20 when he was sent to the ED custody for five days.
After the end of his term, the ED produced him in the court on Wednesday.
The judge rejected his bail and sent him to judicial custody for next six days.
The court also said that ED could interrogate him in the jail custody.
Banerjee will be produced in the court again on June 29.
The ED arrested Rose Valley Group of Companies chairman Gautam Kundu earlier on Mar 25.
