Delhi Police charges PK Pachauri of sexual harassment

New Delhi, Mar 1 (IBNS): Delhi Police on Tuesday charged TERI executive vice-chairman R K Pachauri with sexual harassment of a former woman collegue , media reports.
In the chargesheet, Pachauri has been accused of stalking and criminally intimidating the victim with gesture or act intended to insult her modesty.
 
Earlier, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) had directed its executive vice chairman R K Pachauri to go on indefinite leave.
 
Pachauri has been accused of sexual harassment by a 29-year-old researcher of TERI.
 
The environmentalist has denied the accusation leveled against him.
