Election Commission comes up with RVM to improve migrant workers' voting rights

New Delhi/IBNS: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has come up with a prototype Multi-Constituency Remote Electronic Voting (RVM) Machine to improve the voting rights of the migrant workers, media reports said.

The RVM will help one to vote for multiple constituencies from a single polling station.

By this, migrant workers will not have to travel back to their home states and cast their votes.

As per the Election Commission, the new technology is ready to go for the first round of the RVM.

Some political parties have been invited to test the latest technology.
