Evacuated Indian students from Ukraine's Sumy reach Delhi

New Delhi: One more flight carrying 242 Indians evacuated from Ukraine landed in Delhi on Friday.

Another flight with students, who were evacuated from Sumy city, will reach Delhi around 11 am.

India sent three flights to Poland to bring back 600 students evacuated from Sumy, one of the worst-hit in the Russia-Ukraine crisis.

Over 17,000 Indians, mostly students, have been evacuated so far under the 'Operation Ganga' that has been launched by the Narendra Modi government to rescue Indian citizens from Ukraine via neighbouring countries like Romania, Hungary, Poland.
