Government denies taking steps to appoint Ambassador for Digital India

New Delhi, Sept 29 (IBNS) The government on Tuesday clarified that no move was made to appoint a brand ambassador for the Digital India Programme.

"There were certain news reports that there is move to appoint a brand ambassador for Digital India Programme of the government," read a government statement.

"This is to clarify that there has been no such move to appoint a brand ambassador as reported," it said.
