Headley says his handlers told him nothing will happen to Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi and Hafiz Saeed
Testifying in front of the court, Headley said his handler Sajid Mir of LeT had told him 'both Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi and Hafiz Saeed are safe and nothing will happen against them.'
In more revelations, the Pakistani-American terrorist told the Indian court that a former Pakistan army major Abdul Rehman Pasha that the actions taken against Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi, Hafiz Saeed and several other LeT members by Pakistan Federal Investigation Agency was 'superficial'.
Pasha had joined militant group LeT and later al Qaeda.
He revealed that in e-mail exchanged between him and Mir, they had used code languages and referred to Hafiz Saeed as the “older uncle” and Zaki as the “younger uncle”.
A convict of the state, David Coleman Headley is serving a 35-year jail-term in the US for the 26/11 Mumbai attack which claimed 166 lives and injured several others.
