India dare not treat Pakistan like Myanmar: Pervez Musharraf

| | Jun 16, 2015, at 04:23 pm
New Delhi, June 16 (IBNS): Days after Indian Army's operation along the Indo-Myanmar border to kill Northeast militants, former Pakistan President Parvez Sharif has slammed the same and said India should not attempt the same with his country.
Speaking to CNN-IBN, the former Pakistan president said, "Pakistan is not Myanmar, and India dare not treat Pakistan as Myanmar."

Earlier, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had attacked India and said that statements by "Indian leadership had been deeply disappointing."

He had also vowed to protect his country's "vital interests at all costs."

This came as Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar earlier said that Indian Army's operation along the Indo-Myanmar border to kill Northeast militants, responsible for Manipur ambush, "shows a change in mindset."

Without naming Pakistan directly, Parrikar had said, "Those people who fear India's new posture are reacting."
