Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: India's youngest mayor Arya Rajendran and Balussery MLA Sachin Dev, the youngest member in the Kerala Legislative Assembly, will tie the knot on Sept 4.

The marriage will be held at AKG Centre, the CPI-M headquarters here in the state, at 11am on Sept 4, sources said Tuesday.

Arya became the Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram City Corporation at the age of 21 when she was studying at the All Saints College in Thiruvananthapuram.

Sachin Dev MLA, a member of the CPI-M Kozhikode district committee, is a native of Nellikode in Kozhikode.

While 28-year-old Sachin is the State Secretary of the Students Federation of India (SFI), Arya is its state committee member.

Both of them had also been actively involved in the activities of the 'Balasangam' and the SFI.

The engagement ceremony held at the AKG Centre on Mar 6 was attended by several senior CPI-M leaders.
