International Yoga Day observed in UK

London, June 19 (IBNS): People participated in yoga and meditation sessions near the iconic Tower Bridge here as they observed the International Day of Yoga on Sunday.

Navtej Sarna, High Commissioner of India to the UK, inaugurated the event.

High Commission of India in the UK tweeted: "#IDY2016 @PottersFieldsPa yoga enthusiasts with @TowerBridge @LondonGherkin @TheShardLondon in the background."

Bob Blackman, MP for Harrow East also joined the event.

He tweeted: "Delighted to join #InternationalYogaDay opening @PottersFieldsPa with @NavtejSarna Practicing yoga in the sunshine!"
