Jaish-e-Muhammad claims responsibility for Tangdhar attack in Kashmir
Srinagar, Nov 25 (IBNS) Militant outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad has claimed responsibility for the attack on an army camp in Kupwara district's Tangdhar.
In a statement issued to the Srinagar-based news wire CNS, Jaish spokesperson Muhammad Hasan said three militants of the outfit stormed into the army camp early on Wednesday morning.

A senior Police official told IBNS on phone that three to four heavily armed militants opened fire and threw grenades on the camp taking position in Darshak forests adjacent to Kalsuri ridge. This resulted in a fierce exchange of fire 8 17 am.
A solider was killed and an army JCO injured in the gun battle.
An oil depot in the army camp also caught fire.
