Jammu and Kashmir: One terrorist killed during Awantipora encounter

Srinagar: At least one terrorist was killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Awantipora region on Tuesday.

Operation is still going on.

" #AwantiporaEncounterUpdate: 01 #terrorist killed. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow. @JmuKmrPolice," Kashmiri Zone Police tweeted.

The encounter erupted at Charsoo village in Awantipora sub district of South Kashmir during an anti-militancy operation.
