Jammu and Kashmir: Two arrested with wildlife contraband
Jammu: Two persons were arrested on Tuesday with wildlife contraband like deer antlers in the Jammu city, an official said.
“Two persons have been arrested with contraband of wildlife during a surprise raid and search operation conducted in two shops,” he said.
The Department of Wildlife later tweeted, “Department of Wildlife Protection arrested two culprits with wildlife contraband from Jammu City after conducting successful operation at two shops.”
“Wildlife contraband comprising Deer Antlers and Genitals of Monitor Lizard,” the department tweeted.
