Kharagpur IIT graduate put himself for sale on Flipkart
New Delhi/Kolkata, Mar 2 (IBNS): To get his dream job, a passed out student of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has put himself for sale in India's e-commerce giant- Flipkart, instead of sending CV to company's official email address.
This crazy and innovative idea is the brainchild of IIT Kharagpur pass out student Aakash Neeraj Mittal, who is a resident of New Delhi.
Mittal has promoted himself as a 'product' on Flipkart's platform to introduce himself and to attract Flipkart's recruiters as well. He has also set a price for himself- 27,60,200 rupees only!
Mittal also wrote in the advertisement: "When you are a 6-pointer and competing with best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job. You start doing some crazy and random stuff to stand out from the crowd. This is my resume for Flipkart’s APM Profile. I didn’t get an interview call though, but I hope it will bring a smile on someone’s face.”
However, if Aakash Neeraj Mittal refers the posted 'price' as his per annum salary expectation, then it's quite reasonable for an IITan.
