L-G appointee Mukesh Meena ordered not to join ACB

New Delhi, June 9 (IBNS): Adding new twist in the appointment of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) chief Mukesh Meena by Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, the Delhi Vigilance Director has informed the new chief that there is no place for him in the ACB.
In a letter to Meena, it has been said that there is only one post of Additional Commissioner of Police in the ACB and that is presently occupied.
 
It has been informed to Meena that there is no sanctioned post for him and hence, he must return to his post in the Delhi Police. 
 
Prior to this appointment, Meena held the position of Joint Commissioner of Delhi Police.
 
One joint commissioner and seven inspectors have been posted to the Delhi government's anti-corruption branch.
