New Delhi, Mar 3 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday urged lawmakers to 'walk shoulder to shoulder' and do something for the betterment of the people of the country.

"We will have to trust the 125 crore people of India," Modi said.

"Lets walk shoulder to shoulder and do something for the country," he said.

Speaking in the Parliament, Modi said: " All of us have to work together and think of increasing the accountability of the executive."

Modi made the remarks in the Parliament a day after Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi attacked him and his government in the Lok Sabha.
