Mann Ki Baat programme was enriched by the presence of Tendulkar, Anand: Modi

New Delhi, Feb 28 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the Mann Ki Baat programme was 'enriched' by the motivating words of sports icons Sachin Tendulkar and Viswanathan Anand.

"Today's #MannKiBaat was enriched by the motivating words of @sachin_rt, @vishy64theking, Prof CNR Rao & Pujya Morari Bapu. Gratitude to them," Modi tweeted.

Speaking on the show, Sachin tweeted: "Being positive and setting your own goals...Happy to join PM @narendramodi on #MannKiBaat wishing students good luck for their Board exams!"

Modi on Sunday dedicated his Mann Ki Baat address to the nation's students who are appearing for exams and asked them to not merely worry about marks.

This is one of the special editions of Modi's monthly radio address where eminent personalities like cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and chess champion Viswanathan Anand joined him.


Other personalities who joined the radio address were Professor CNR Rao and spiritual guru Morari Bapu .
