Many sandalwood smugglers feared dead in Andhra encounter

Hyderabad, Apr 7 (IBNS) Several red sandalwood smugglers were feared dead in an encounter with the police in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district on Tuesday morning, said reports.
Reports said about 20 red-sandalwood smugglers could be dead in the encounter in Seschalam forest area of Chittoor.
 
The smugglers had attacked police prompting a fierce retaliation, said reports.
