Massive fire breaks in Mumbai building, 3 killed

Mumbai, Dec 27 (IBNS): At least three people were killed as a level-3 fire broke out in a housing society in suburban Mumbai's Chembur.

According to reports, the fire broke out at the 10th floor of the building around 7:50 PM.

The housing society is near Ganesh Garden in Tilak Nagar in Chembur.

All the three victims were elderly people who succumbed to their injuries on the way to hospital.

The victims have been identified as Sunita Joshi, 72, Bhalchandra Joshi, 72 and Suman Shrinivas Joshi, 83, said reports.

Another senior citizen has been admitted to the hospital due to suffocation.
