Mathura/UNI: An application claiming that a Meena Mosque was constructed on a part of 13.37 acre land of Katra Keshav Dev Temple and seeking direction to remove it was moved in the court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Jyoti Singh Monday.

Counsel of the plaintiff Deepak Sharma said that the plaint has been registered by the court, which fixed October 26 as the next date of hearing.

He said that the plaint has been moved by national treasurer of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha Dinesh Sharma as a worshipper.

Sharma said that the Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board and secretary of the Intezamia Committee of Meena Mosque (so called) have been made respondents in the case.

In the plaint, it has been stated that the mosque has been constructed on the said land of Keshav Dev temple and some construction work is still going on.

The plaintiff has alleged that he asked the respondents to remove the mosque, but it was not done and instead he was getting threats.

The plaintiff has prayed that he has filed the plaint as he believes in Hindu culture and to make an effort to save the property of Thakur Keshav Dev Maharaj.

The plaintiff has stated that he has full right to stop or remove illegal construction.
