More Metros in Kolkata on Saturdays, Sundays

Kolkata, Mar 31 (IBNS): Metro Railway, Kolkata has decided to increase Metro services on Saturdays and Sundays.
Metro commuters will get the benefit of the increased services from 04.04.2015 (Saturday) and 05.04.2015 (Sunday). 
 
On Saturdays, trains will ply between a minimum frequency of seven (7) minutes and a maximum frequency of 15 minutes and on Sundays it will be ten (10) minutes and twenty (20) minutes respectively.
 
 It has been decided to ply 224 trains on Saturdays instead of present 206 trains and 110 trains on Sundays instead of present 94 trains.
