Navy boat sinks off Chennai
Chennai, Jan 21 (IBNS) A boat, which is used by the Indian Navy, sank off on Thursday, media reports said.
The boat reportedly sank after it caught fire in the early hours of Thursday.
No one has been hurt in the incident.
"As the fire melted the texture of the boat, all four personnel who were on board swam to naval ship, which was sailing alongside for patrol," Rear Admiral Alok K. Bhatnagar, Flag Officer in charge of Tamil Nadu and Puduchery Area, told The Hindu.
