NDFB(S) top leader's slain body recovered along Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border

Guwahati, Jan 23 (IBNS) : Security forces on Saturday found the slain body of NDFB(S) finance secretary from a jungle area along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border, officials said.

Sonitpur district police said that the slain body of Nijom Daimary, who hold the finance secretary post of the outfit group NDFB(S), from the inter-state bordering area.

“It is a conflict between the leaders of the outfit group. We think that Nijom was killed due to inter conflict issue. Recently, the militant group had reconstituted its central committee,” a top police official said.

On the other hand, security has been beefed up across the state ahead of Republic Day celebration.

Assam police IGP SN Singh said that all measures have been taken up to tackle all treats.
