NIA to conduct lie-detector test on captured Pak terrorist

| | Aug 17, 2015, at 09:51 pm
New Delhi, Aug 17 (IBNS) A Delhi court on Monday granted permission to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to conduct a polygraph test on arrested Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Naved alias Usman Khan, reports said.

The lie-detector test will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday.

The permission came  as the captured terrorist was produced in the Patiala House Court of the national capital for in-camera proceedings.

According to reports, the terrorist, captured after the recent Udhampur attack on a BSF party, has been inconsistent in his statements given to the investigating authorities.

As the  NIA claimed to have got crucial information during Usman's interrogation, it pressed for a lie-detector test to ascertain facts.

During his interrogation, it was revealed that Usman is 20 years old and belongs to Faisalabad in Pakistan.
