Pathankot attack: Search operations continue

Pathankot, Jan 3 (IBNS): Search and combing operation is currently going in the Indian Air Force (IAF) frontier base near Pathankot town in Punjab on Sunday, reports said.

The attack killed three IAF men and at least four militants.

The gun fight lasted for nearly 15 hours.

President Pranab Mukhejree, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other India leaders have condemned the attack.

Ending a day full of tensions, security forces neutralized terrorists who had attacked Pathankot air force of India in Punjab on Saturday, which claimed the lives of three IAF men.

The attack occurred days after Narendra Modi visited Pakistan and met his counterpart Nawaz Sharif.
