Police arrest two drugs peddlers along with 660 grams of heroin in Assam’s Karbi Anglong

Guwahati/IBNS: Police seized 660 grams of heroin and arrested two drugs peddlers in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district on Thursday.

Based on secret information, police set up a Naka checking in front of CCI Bokajan CRPF camp and intercepted a four-wheeler.

On being thorough search of the vehicle police recovered 51 soapboxes containing 660 grams of heroin from the vehicle.

Police arrested two drugs peddlers and they were identified as Ashukho and S. Shila of Nagaland’s Dimapur area.

Bokajan SDPO John Das said that the apprehended persons had planned to deliver drugs to a person of Bokajan area who was arrested recently along with 695 grams of heroin and a case was registered at Khatkhati police station against him.
